This week I am posting the classwork(CW) and the homework (HW). If classwork is not completed in class, the student will take a book home and finish for homework in addition to the IXL homework. Sheet Protectors

Each student will need 15 sheet protectors for their next writing project. Please send these in as soon as possible.

Oriental Trading

Please consider donating an Oriental Trading gift card for our holiday craft time.  You may purchase an e-gift certificate and have it sent to Mrs. Vassar's school email address.  We really need to get the crafts ordered as soon as possible.

Notecards

Just a reminder that the book reports are due next Tuesday. I have bundled sets of 15 notecards for the students to get and use for the project if needed.  Just have them ask me for a bundle and it is theirs! Hope everyone is enjoying the project.

Math Homework 11/13 - 11/19

Tuesday 11/13: ixl level e, P.7; Wednesday 11/14: ixl level e, F.7; Thursday 11/15: level e, H.6; Monday 11/19: Study for quiz on multiples of 6 using the "Multiplying 6s" worksheet.

Donations needed

The holiday season will soon be upon us and the third grade team likes to give the students the opportunity to have some fun with crafts. We order these through Oriental Trading.  If you would like to help cover the costs, please let Mrs. Vassar know.  The easiest way is for you to purchase a gift card from Oriental itself that can be applied towards the final payment as one large order is placed at the same time.

Field Trips

An email came out earlier in the week about the field trips that the third grade will be participating in second semester. We need to start collecting this money now so that we can pay the invoices for the trips.  We ask that, if possible, you print out the form and submit it with payment.  We will also provide paper copies soon for thsoe that can't download it from the email.
