Supplies needed!!
The Booster Bash is in need of supplies. I would like to ask that each third grade student donate a bag of candy for the bash. With the amount of students we have, we should be able to make a tremendous contribution to the bash through our candy donations. Thanks for considering helping out.

White Group - Quilt Use assignment
Today in class the white group read The Keeping Quilt. The book follows the uses of a quilt through different generations. The students will be listing the uses in order that they were used in the book. They DO NOT count the page where the quilt is being hung out to dry. They also need to be very specific about the use as it was used for similar things over time.

Everyone has a math project due on Friday, October 5th.
Here are the directions:
You are the cashier at a store you own. You decide what type of merchandise you sell at your store and give your store a name. Draw a picture of items that would be for sale. Make a chart that lists the items and their prices. Five customers bring their merchandise to your cash register. Tell what each customer bought and the price of every item. Add their total cost. They pay with a bill that is larger than their total. Subtract to make change. Tell exactly how many bills and coins you give the customer to make change.
