Students were given a take home math test on division today. They started it in class.

Registration Packets

Registration packets for next school year are coming home in the Monday folder.  Please fill out the paperwork and return it to school as soon as possible.

Upcoming Week

Just a reminder that the end of the nine weeks is Tuesday the 26th.  This Thursday the 28th will be an early release day and the start of Spring Break.

End of Quarter

This is just a reminder that the end of the third quarter is Tuesday. No late work will be accepted after this date as our grades will be posted prior to spring break. Please encourage your children to make sure that all of their work has been turned in for the quarter.

Math HW March 18-21

Please drill the multiplication tables with your child. It is imperative that they truly know the facts quickly in order to do division.
Students must earn a score of 85 or 30 minutes, whichever comes first on www.ixl.com.

Math HW March 11 - 14, 2013

Monday: Everyone needs to bring in an empty fluid container on Tuesday. This could be an empty water bottle, an empty Coke bottle, a measuring cup, etc. Please let your child know whether to bring the item back home or to recycle.

Collection for Mrs. Parrish

We are asking that each child donate $2 by this Friday to help purchase a gift certificate for Mrs. Parrish to help her start her teaching career. Please send it in with your child to give to their teacher.

This Monday will be Ms. Parrish's last day with us. She has done an excellent job with our students during her time with us.  They will still get to see her around school however, as she will be moving down the hall to work with our fifth grade math students for the remainder of this school year.

Math HW March 4 - 7

From this week on, students working on IXL need at achieve a score of 85 or work for 30 minutes (whichever comes first). If your child needs paper homework, just let me know.
